    Central Out of School Club

Central Out of School Club is the high quality provision of before and after school child care, which is safe, affordable and convenient for parents and carers, as well as fun and stimulating for children.

We are registered with Ofsted on the compulsory child care register as well as the Early Years register, enabling us to provide childcare for all children from Reception – Year 6, implementing age appropriate activities for Early Years and Key Stages 1 and 2.

Children attending Central Out of School Club are encouraged to participate in fun, structured activities with fully qualified childcare and play work professionals, to include sports and arts and crafts, as well as ample opportunity to engage with other children in free play. We also have quiet and reading/homework areas for children to be able to relax with their friends. Central Out of School Club provides games and toys to encourage structured, educational free play to stimulate children of all ages.

As a result, children are given the opportunity of free play during each After School Club session, as well as planned structured activities.

EYFS and Key Stage 1 children are escorted to and from their classroom at the beginning and end of the school day, with Key Stage 2 children being able to walk themselves to their classroom or the club room.

Central Out of School Club provides a breakfast of toast or cereal at each Before School Club session. A snack is provided to all children attending the After School Club. Fresh drinking water is always available throughout all sessions. These foods are in accordance with schools healthy eating guidelines, and are prepared to the highest food hygiene standards. No food, which could provide a hazard due to allergies, is allowed on site. All food, which will be served throughout the week, is available to view by parents on request.
